The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that 08′ Forward, Braxton Alaric, has committed to the hockey club.
The Calgary, ALTA, product spent the last 2 seasons with the Calgary Buffaloes U18AAA team. Last season Braxton finished 2nd on his team in points with 42 in 33 games which included a team leading 18 goals.
The 6’0″, left shot, led his team in playoff points with 9 in just 4 playoff games. Braxton also suited up for 3 affiliate games with the Wolverines last season.
“Braxton spent a lot of time with us last year and he obviously can put up points, but I noticed an athlete that competes hard and has a keen attention to detail.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Braxton had this to say about joining the Wolverines “I am grateful and excited for this opportunity. After spending time with the team in the playoffs, the main goal is to win, and I want nothing more than to bring a championship to Whitecourt.”
