The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have acquired Sidney Deslauriers (06) from the Saint-Jérôme Panthères of the QJHL for a PDF.
From Mont-Tremblant, QC, the right shot forward had 56 points in 48 games last season. While also adding 12 points in 11 playoff games. Sidney, is a former 3rd-round-pick in the QMJHL draft and played 105 games split between the Moncton Wildcats and Victoriaville Tigres.
“We are excited to add Sidney to the team, he does a lot of things well and will be a great add to our club.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Sidney added “I’m excited to come to Whitecourt as I have only heard good things about the organization. My belief is that we can push this year and bring a championship to Whitecourt. I can’t wait to meet all the guys and get to work.”
