The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have acquired forward Tanner Klimpke (02′) from the Olds Grizzly’s in exchange for future considerations.
The Calgary, ALTA, native has collected 39 points in 38 games this season with the Grizzly’s and 56 points in 67 games for his AJHL career. Klimpke is committed to attend Robert Morris University next year.
Wolverines HC/GM SHawn Martin had this to say about the trade
“We were lucky that we were able to play Olds 3 times this season in the 1st half, each time we walked away very impressed with Tanner and his skill set. His size and speed will fit our style of play as we head down the stretch.”
