The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have acquired Nathan Hawkins (06) from the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL.
From Lethbridge, ALTA, the right shot defender had 14 points in 51 games last season playing for the Drumheller Dragons. Prior to his time in Drumheller Nathan played with the Spruce Grove Saints.
“Losing two of our 06 defencemen to major junior wasn’t something we were quite ready for so to have an experienced defenceman like Nathan to come available and be excited to come in and join the team was a seamless transition.” Says GM Shawn Martin
Martin adds” He was great last weekend playing key minutes for us.”
