Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines have acquired 1998-born goaltender Liam McCloskey from the Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL).
The Pitt Meadows, BC product is entering his second season of junior hockey.
In his time with Prince George he compiled a record of 9-21-1 with a 4.21 goals against average, a .876 save percentage and one shutout.
Prior to joining the Spruce Kings he played his minor hockey with the Vancouver NE Chiefs midget AAA program winning the BCMML championship in 2015 while also being named a league all-star that same year.
The Wolverines next two home games are Tuesday night against the Sherwood Park Crusaders at 7:30pm and Saturday night against the Camrose Kodiaks at 7:30pm.
