The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that Cooper Hatfield (01) has been loaned to the team from the Winnipeg Blues of the MJHL.
Hatfield from Kenora, Ontario is in his 2nd year with the Blues. Last season he was named to the MJHL All-Rookie team as well was a nominee for the Leagues Top Goaltender Award. Before the MJHL season was put on pause Cooper was 4-0 with a 1.50 GAA and a 944 Save%.
“With Isaac Poulter heading back to the WHL we needed to add another goalie to our roster, Cooper was on top of that list.” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin. “We are very excited about the trio of goaltenders we will have for the remainder of this season”.
