Wolverines Defenseman Kyle Venneman has committed to attend the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology who play in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. They have been crowned ACAC champions 16 times in their storied history. The Olds, Alberta, product was acquired in November of this past season to stabilize a young defensive core. Kyle compiled 23 points last season with the Wolverines.
“Points don’t always tell how valuable a player can be to your team, and Kyle changed his game to help us win games.” stated Shawn Martin
Shawn adds “He battled through some significant injuries during the playoffs, and that mentality will help him become a key player within the NAIT Ooks program.”
Kyle had this to say about to commitment “I am very excited to be furthering my hockey career and education. I would like to thank my coaches, teammates, and family for helping me along the way.”
