Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines open training camp Friday night at the Scott Safety Centre as they begin their quest to defend their 2017 North Division Championship.
All ice times will be open to the public beginning with the first skate at 5:30pm. Main camp closes Sunday evening with the Wolverines intrasquad game at 7pm. Full camp schedule:

Whitecourt Wolverines head coach and general manager discuses the start of a new season:
Following main camp, the Wolverines will begin their preseason schedule on Wednesday August 30th in Camrose where they will play three games in three days taking on the Drumheller Dragons, Spruce Grove Saints and Sherwood Park Crusaders.
