The Wolverines Jump Up One Spot in National Standings

Once again, the Wolverines have moved up in the Canadian Junior Hockey League National Standings. Last week the Wolverines saw their franchise move from the 20th spot to the 9th spot and this week has proven that the Wolverines are holding firm on the list as they climbed one spot into the 8th position.

The CJHL (Canadian Junior Hockey League) is made up of 10 Leagues and 131 Junior teams across Canada. Being listed on the top twenty list for 8 weeks straight is proof that the Wolverines won’t be backing down anytime soon.

The Wolverines have had a year of breaking records with milestones such as 100 wins for the franchise and Coach Bouchard, longest winning streak, most wins in a season and being listed on the CJHL Poinstreak just to name a few. All of these records are not a small feat to a franchise that is still young in its inception.

The Wolverines have come a long way in short period of time and by the looks of things, they won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Whitecourt is fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of this record breaking franchise and if their fans, sponsors and town continue to get behind and rally around them, there’s nothing that will stand in their way.
