Spencer Augot leaving Wolverines to attend SAIT

Whitecourt- 19-year-old Defenceman Spencer Augot is forgoing his last year of junior hockey to attend SAIT, as he has enrolled in the Civil Engineering Program there. From Whitecourt, the hometown product leaves the Wolverines 8th all-time in games played. Spencer was awarded the most improved player in the 2017-18 season and could always be counted on for his numerous hours donated within the community.

?Spencer was always a pleasure to coach over the past three seasons,? stated Head Coach Shawn Martin, ?He persevered through a lot in his time with the team, and I feel that he will take those life lessons into the next stage of his life.?

Spencer had this to say about his career with his hometown Wolverines. ?My time with the Wolverines has been great.? I made a lot of memories and created many lifetime friendships while playing Junior A hockey?.
