On Saturday, December 15, 2018 Whitecourt Wolverines host the R&R memorial game honouring the lives of Ryder and Radek.
Between 2:00 PM-3:00 PM on December 15th, Whitecourt Wolverines invite the community to come to the Scott Safety Center in the Athabasca Arena to paint messages on the ice for Ryder, Radek and Stark family. These messages will remain on the ice for the duration of the memorial game.
7:15 pm – R&R memorial game will start with a candlelight vigil, music tribute by Abigail, memorial video, and ceremonial puck-drop.
During the R&R Memorial Game, Whitecourt Wolverines will be revealing the new 3rd jersey. While the game against Spruce Grove is being played, these game-worn jerseys will be up for silent auction. The silent auction will continue on Tuesday, December 18th during the Wolverines next home game, until the beginning of the 3rd period at which time the auction will close. Proceeds from the jersey auction will go to the R&R Foundation.
