20-year-old goalie, Elliot Pratt, has committed to playing next season with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals of the NCAA Division 3 Conference.
Elliot has spent the past two season with the Wolverines since being acquired from the Camrose Kodiaks.
Elliot finishes his Wolverines career with the following stats: 52 GP (4th in Franchise History), 34 Wins (2nd in Franchise History), 2.39 GAA (5th in Franchise History), 6 shutouts (franchise record) and a 915 Save % (6th in Franchise History). Elliot was named a finalist for the AJHL top Goaltender Award this past season and has been the recipient on the AJHL Top Team Goaltenders award the past 2 seasons.
“Elliott did everything we could have asked out of him the past 2 seasons. From being a great teammate to being the ultimate workhorse in net for our club this season.” Stated Head Coach Shawn Martin.
Shawn adds “I am extremely proud and excited for Elliot to move onto the next level as his potential continues to get stronger every year.”
Elliot had this to say about his commitment. “I am super excited to continue my academic and athletic career at Plattsburgh. I couldn’t have done it without the Whitecourt Community, coaching staff and support from my teammates.”
