The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2004 local area Defenceman Lohgan Nimmo has committed to the hockey club for this upcoming season.
The Mayerthorpe, ALTA, native has spent the last 2 seasons with the St. Albert U18 AAA Raiders. Also, over the last two seasons Lohgan has joined the Wolverines as an affiliate and during the Covid year was a part of the extended training camp process.
Last season Lohgan compiled 15 points at the U18AAA level. Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say, “We have been able to get to know Lohgan very well over the past couple of seasons and feel he will be a good fit with our hockey club moving forward.”
Lohgan added “I’m very excited to contribute to the Wolverines in the upcoming season, looking forward to a great year of development.”
The Wolverines organization want to welcome the Nimmo family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
