The Wolverines are proud to announce that #29, Liam Motley has been named Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week. Motley scored 9 (4 G, 5A) points in three games during the week ending December 11th.
Liam Motley, 19, recorded a 3 point game on December 6th versus Grande Prairie followed by a 2 point night in Spruce Grove on December 10th. He closed the week earing the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game award on December 11th with 3 points versus Lloydminster.
Motley (Calgary, AB) is second in team scoring with 33 points (17G, 16A) and is within the Top 20 AJHL Scorers. Since joining the Wolverines at the start of November, he has averaged 1.2 points per game.
The Whitecourt Wolverines hold top spot in the Viterra AJHL North Division with 52 points and are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games
