The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2003 Defenceman Warren Marcotte has Signed a Letter of Intent with the hockey club. The Calgary, Alberta native plays with the Northern Alberta Extreme Prep Team in Edmonton. They have had a strong year compiling a record of 32-3-1 clinching first place. Warren currently has 31 points in 32 games for the first place Extreme. As an affiliate player with the Wolverines, he has played four times with the team, where he has recorded one goal.
Head Coach Shawn Martin had this to say, ?Warren is a dual-threat defenceman that teams in our league covet, we are very excited that Warren has chosen the Wolverines.?
The Wolverines organization wants to welcome Warren and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
