Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that forward Jaedon Leslie will be returning to Whitecourt for his 20-year-old season.
Leslie, a St. Albert product, will be entering his fourth season as a member of the team. In 150 career regular season games, he has scored 34 goals and 54 assists. He currently holds the franchise record for most game-winning goals in a season (7) and is tied for the all-time record (10). Leslie has added 38 more games to his career in the post-season where he has scored 9 goals and 3 assists.
While his contributions on the ice speak for themselves, during his three previous years in Whitecourt he has endeared himself to our community. He has twice been named the team’s Fan Favorite player while also being named Humanitarian of the Year. This past season he was recognized as the team’s Most Dedicated Player which he proved he more than deserved during our latest post-season run to the North Division Final as he played with broken ribs.
Leslie is committed to attend Ohio State University (NCAA, Div I) beginning in the fall of 2019.
