The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 08′ Forward Nolan Cardinal has committed to the Wolverines for the upcoming season. The 6’2″ La Crete, AB, product spent last season with the La Crete Lumber Barons of the NWJHL, where he compiled 14 points in 10 games and accumulated 20 penalty minutes.
Head Coach Shawn Martin notes a throwback style of player, “Nolan came to spring camp and won a job the old-fashioned way by working hard and playing with an aggressive and truculent style of play.”
Nolan had this to say about his decision to join the Wolverines “Joining the Wolverines is a fantastic opportunity to develop my skills, be part of a supportive team and grow as a player on and off the ice.”
The Wolverines organization want to welcome Nolan and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
