Brayden Labant opens the scoring on the power play in the first period from Ethan Leyer and Will Spitzer to give the Wolverines an early lead. Sam Anderson doubles the Wolverines lead from Cassidy Bowes and Ryan Wallz in the second period. Ergang, Wallz and Osepchuk (PP) tack on goals in the third to make it 5-0. Fort McMurray Oil Barons would get one on the power play at 15:07 from Declan Douthart assisted by Michael Hodge and Kabore Dunn for a 5-1 final.
Wolverines would outshoot the MOB 33-21 and go 66.7% on the power play. Wolverines win all 6 games against the MOB in regular season.
