Wolverines are in Bonnyville for their seventh and final meeting with the Pontiacs of regular season. Wolverines have been closing in on the third place over the month of January and this final meeting is an important two points.
Kaleb Ergang opens the scoring in the first from Ethan Green, followed by a power play goal by Ethan Leyer from Brayden Labant and Kaleb Ergang giving the Wolverines a two point lead after twenty minutes. Bonnyville Pontiacs Thorne would score on the power play just 30 seconds into the second period from Daine Dubois and Matthew McKim. Matthew McKim would even up the game short handed from Lucas Thorne. The tie would be short as Brayden Labant would score on the power play ten seconds later from Ethan Leyer and Bryce Osepchuk. Ethan Leyer would reinstate the two goal league two minutes later from Kaleb Ergang and Bryce Osepchuk. Lucas Thorne would cut the lead to one on the power play at the end of the second from Matthew McKim and Daine Dubois. Ryan Wallz would score two goals in the third for a 6-3 final.
