GAME RECAP
Brooks Bandits were in Whitecourt for the first match up of regular season.
Wolverines take a four minute major penalty to start the game and Bandits capitalize on the power play going up three goal in the first three minutes of the game (James McIsaac, Randy Hernández, Tim Rego). Bandits would keep the momentum going adding three more goals after ten minutes of the first (Randy Hernández, Sean Chisholm, Tim Rego). Cole Carrier would put the Wolverines on the board at 11:20 from Ethan Leyer and Hayden Clayton. Bandits would answer right back at 12:28 – Greg Japchen from Trey Thomas and TJ Hughes, making it 7-1 after 20 minutes. Whitecourt Wolverines would add a second goal on the power play at 14:42 – Adam Sandstrom from Will Spitzer and Brayden Labant making it 7-2. Brayden Krieger, Jakob Lee, Tim Rego, TJ Hughes would add goals for the Bandits to finish this one 11-2 Brooks.
