Whitecourt, AB – The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that graduating forward Eric Krienke has accepted a scholarship to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (ACAC).
Krienke, a Calgary, Alberta native, spent the past two seasons in Whitecourt where he amassed 47 goals and 98 points in just 84 games. He spent parts of five seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League appearing in 132 career games and registering 63 goals and 67 assists.
His four career hat-tricks, three of which came in the 2016/2017 season, is a franchise record.
Krienke joins the SAIT Trojans who are coming off a 19-9-3 season. The 12-time ACAC champion Trojans are coached by Dan Olsen who is entering his fourth season behind the SAIT bench.
The entire Whitecourt Wolverines organization would like to congratulate Eric and his family on his selection of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology for his college experience and wish him all the best in his academics and athletics.
