Hey Wolverine fans,
We kick off the first of back to back games this weekend against the Lloydminster Bobcats.
The Bobcats took down the Wolverines in overtime and the shootout their last time out when we started our season in Lloyd. Since then the Bobcats are 4-9-1, while the Wolverines have went 11-4-1.
Whitecourt and Lloydminster will meet 3 more times during the season after tonight.
Players to Watch
Wolverines – Chase Broda 17GP (12-10-22) Broda has 6 goals in his last 5 games and is coming off a 4 point performance against the Bonnyville Pontiacs. The Wolverines captain comes into tonight 15th in the AJHL’s scoring race.
Bobcats – Matthew Swanson 16GP (8-13-21) Swanson just had a 9 game point streak snapped against the Eagles and will be looking to get back into the points column once again. Swanson has 4 points in 2 games against the Wolverines this season.
