The Whitecourt Wolverines and the Fort McMurray Oil Barons clash for the 4th time this season tonight at the Scott Safety Centre.
The Wolverines enter tonight’s contest with a 19-20-2 record while the league leading “MOB” enter with a 33-5-3 record.
Both teams met last in Fort McMurray on Nov 23rd where the Wolverines may have lost 6-3 however some fans that were in attendance said that the Wolverines pushed the Oil Barons to their limit.
Both teams like to show No love towards each other as the Wolverines defeated the Oil Barons last season in Round 1 of the Gas Drive Cup taking the Oil Barons the full distance of 5 games and defeating the MOB 4-3 in that game 5 to move on to Round 2.
