The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2007 born Forward William Knox has agreed to join the hockey club for the upcoming season. The Edmonton, Alberta native played for the AEHL U18AAA Edmonton Oilers Orange squad last season. In 38 games William scored 28 points, while also adding another 6 points in 9 playoff games.
Head Coach Shawn Martin had this to say, “William is a quick and skilled player that has a lot of upside.”
Martin adds “He is a real late birthday and is almost a 08-birth year, so we feel his development path at some point is going to escalate quickly.”
William had this to add about coming to Whitecourt next season “I am grateful to have the opportunity of joining the Whitecourt Wolverines. I am looking forward to every moment upcoming with this club. I want to help with all team successes in the upcoming seasons.”
The Wolverines organization would like to welcome William and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
