The Whitecourt Wolverines have named Evan Warmington their new Captain for the upcoming 2014-2015 AJHL season, making him their 4th Captain in franchise history. Warmington, 20, is entering his 4th AJHL season and his 3rd as a Wolverine. In his previous 3 seasons, the 6’2”, 205-pound power forward has recorded 77 points (32G, 45A) and 365 penalty minutes in 168 games played.
The St. Albert native truly embodies the heart and work ethic of a Wolverine. “Evan understands the culture we are trying to create here in Whitecourt,” says Head Coach Joey Bouchard. “Not only does Evan exhibit great leadership skills on the ice but he is also a very active member of our community who leads through his work ethic”.
