Whitecourt Wolverines captain Trace Elson has joined the Vancouver Giants of the major junior Western Hockey League. Elson had 30 points in 20 games for the Wolverines this season and recently participtaed in the Wolrd Jr. A Hockey Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia as a member of Team Canada West. Elson returns to the Western Hockey League after playing in five games for the Red Deer Rebels during the 2011-12 season. The Whitecourt Wolverines wish Trace continued success and the best of luck with the Vancouver Giants.
