19 year old Elson returns to the Wolverines after a stint with the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants. The St. Albert native appeared in 15 games with the Giants collecting 2 goals and 3 points with 11 penalty minutes.
Before being called up to the WHL Elson was the Wolverines leading scorer collecting 13 goals and 30 points in 20 games matching his point total from last season in which it took him 35 more games to achieve.
Elson also appeared in the World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in November where he recorded 2 assists in 4 games to help Team Canada West to a Bronze medal.
