19-year-old Defenceman Cedric Matte has committed to attend Norwich University, which is in Northfield Vermont and plays in the D-III conference in the NCAA. From Waterville, Quebec Cedric was acquired at the January 10th trade deadline from the Cornwall Colts in the CCHL. He compiled 6 points in 23 games, including all six playoff games with the Wolverines.
?Cedric came in at an important time for us and really allowed us to spread out the minutes on the back end,? stated Head Coach Shawn Martin. ?He will have a very good career at Norwich, and we wish him the best of luck.?
Cedric is a great student and is looking forward to his studies in Engineering.
