Former Wolverines Defenceman Caleb MacDonald has signed an entry level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets for 2-years starting in 2025/26.
MacDonald played in 126 regular season games for the Wolverines collecting 16-79-95. MacDonald was also a force for the Wolverines during the post-season registering 16 points in 19 games. Both are records for the Wolverines. In 2022/23, his last season in Whitecourt, MacDonald was recognized by the AJHL as the leagues most outstanding Defenceman.
Calebwent on to play two seasons in the NCAA. His first season with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, he lead the team freshman in scoring with 14 points. His second season now with North Dakota, Caleb recorded 10 points in 35 games.
