On October 4th while at home playing the Fort McMurrary Oil Barons the Whitecourt Wolverines will be hosting a “Bras Across the Bridge” night. The Wolverines are looking to collect enough new and gently used bras to make it from one end of the High Level Bridge to the other. When the Wolverines score their first goal against the Oil Barons on October 4th, the fans will be asked to throw the bras toward the ice. For every bra donated “91.7 THE BOUNCE” will donate $1 to the Canadian Cancer Foundation and all the bras collected will be donated to “Africa We Care” and other local charities supporting women with breast cancer.
All fans attending the game on October 4th are asked to wear PINK to the game to show their support. The most creative PINK outfit wins a prize.
