The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2004 Defenceman Vito Biondo has committed to the hockey club.
The Lake St. Louis, MO, native split last season between the U18 AAA St. Louis Blues and at De Smet Jesuit High School.
The U18 Blues are coached by former NHL players Jeff Brown and Kelly Chase.
Combined Vito scored 23 points in 44 games.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say, “Vito comes very highly recommended by the coaching staff in St. Louis, he played a lot of hard minutes for a team that lost out in the national finals.”
Vito added “I’m extremely excited and honored for my opportunity to become a Wolverine, I am ready to showcase my abilities and develop for the betterment of the team.”
