Barrett Commits to Albertus Magnus College

20-year-old forward, Cole Barrett, has committed to playing next season with the Albertus Magnus College Falcons who play in the NCAA Division III Conference.

Cole joined the Wolverines just before the start of the season after a trade from the Camrose Kodiaks. Cole finished this season with 33 points in 42 games adding another 4 points in 4 games in the playoffs. Barrett finishes his AJHL career with 109 games in the regular season collecting 32 goals and 76 points.

“Cole’s speed and skill was a good add to our line-up, even though Cole only played in Whitecourt for one season I did see great strides in his development throughout the year.” stated Head Coach Shawn Martin.

Cole had this to say about his commitment. “I am very proud to continue my hockey career and further my education at Albertus Magnus College.”

“I would like to thank my friends, family and coaches for everything they have done for me.” Added Cole

On behalf of the Wolverines organization, we want to congratulate Cole and his family on this achievement and thank him for his service in Whitecourt.
