The Whitecourt Wolverines are pleased to announce that 2009 Forward Memphis Adeniken has committed to join the hockey club for next season.
The Edmonton, ALTA, product played last season with the AEHL U18AAA League Finalist Edmonton Jr. Oilers. Last season Memphis was 1st on his team in points where he compiled 53 points in 38 games and was 5th in the entire AEHL for points. He also added 12 points in 12 playoff games which had him 3rd within the AEHL.
Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin had this to say “Memphis had a very good year last year and we feel that he can bring an offensive element to our hockey club. We try to bring in winners, and we believe Memphis fits that mold.”
Memphis had this to add “I am grateful for this opportunity in Whitecourt. I’m ready to get to work and help bring success to the team.”
The Wolverines organization would like to welcome Memphis and his family to the Wolverines program and wish him the most success in his future development.
