The Whitecourt Wolverines Junior “A” Hockey Club are pleased to announce that they have acquired Colby Browne (03) from the Olds Grizzly’s.
This season the Evergreen, CO, native has 16 points in 21 games. Last season Colby was 2nd in team scoring with 36 points in 59 games.
“Although we don’t play Olds many times during the season every time we have Colby has been a thorn in our side so we are very happy to add him to our line-up.” stated Head/GM Shawn Martin. The Whitecourt Wolverines are also receiving the rights to Nicholas DeGraves who is currently playing in the USHL and also a PDF. The Wolverines would like to welcome Colby and his family to the Hockey Club.
Going back to the Grizzly’s are defencemen Travis Baker and Nathan White along with forward Jayden Watson.
“It was very tough to part with these young men as they all have been exceptional Wolverines during their time here and wish them the best of luck with the opportunity in Olds.”
